Should runners eat ‘organic’ food?

After my run yesterday I stopped by McDonalds and had a medium sized order of french fries and an ice cream cone. 380 calories for the fries, 150 calories for the ice cream. I LOVE those soft serve ice cream cones. My joggling was 7 plus miles which equals about 700 calories. [...]

Today. my training schedule called for a 4 mile run. Instead I spent my lunch hour playing volleyball and my after-work workout playing basketball. Of course I spent some of my exercise time also juggling but no joggling. I’m getting pretty good at keeping 3 balls going using only one hand.
Unfortunately, I’m [...]

10 Fitness Myths that make training harder

I woke up this morning with sore legs. That’s not much different than yesterday or the day before for that matter. Funny, I rarely wonder if it’s worth it. Joggling is enough motivation to keep me going even if it means living with sore legs. But there are lot’s of reasons [...]

Don’t take a marathon lightly

If you ever get the feeling that running or joggling a marathon is no big deal, forget it.  As this unfortunate story (and many like it) shows, for some people it can be downright deadly.  It just goes to show you never know when it’s your time to go.  Live for today.
