Blog book tagging - What are you reading?

It’s a little game played in the blogsphere where you tag another blogger. Well, arcaner just tagged this joggler, so here goes.
According to the ‘tag’ I’m supposed to do the following.
1. Find the nearest book.
2. Name the book & the author.
3. Turn to page 123.
4. Go to the fifth sentence on the page. [...]
