A couple of weekends ago, while visiting the Brewmaster’s place (remember juggling on the trampoline), we were playing a game of Trivial Pursuit Totally 80s.
Imagine the scene…
My team’s Trapper Keeper game piece is cruising along getting pie upon pie successfully answering questions like…
“Who was Time’s Man of the Decade in the 80’s?” Gorbachev

On July 17th, 2007 the International Jugglers Association (IJA) held the joggling championships at Hanes Park track in Winston-Salem, N.C. It was part of their annual jugglers convention.

Last weekend my wife and I went to the Brewmaster’s lake cottage. One of the greatest features of the place was a trampoline. I love bouncing on a trampoline. It’s an incredible workout but mostly it’s just fun.
At some point I thought it would be fun to add juggling to the mix. [...]

Yesterday was a beautiful day for joggling in Chicago. Sunny, with just the right temperature. I had a 20+ miler planned and wasn’t feeling great about doing it. Not because I was tired or sore or anything, just because exercising for 3+ hours is a daunting task. I wasn’t looking forward [...]

July 14th marked the 6 month anniversary of the joggling streak. That means for the last 180 plus days I’ve joggled at least 1 mile everyday (950 miles total during that time).
People have asked how I keep going. So here is a list of some of the secrets.

There was a great article in the July 2007 edition of Runner’s World that asks the question, what’s your ideal weight? We’ve talked about this subject a few times on the joggler blog including this post about how do you know if you should lose weight and you know you’re overweight when…

Ok, I’ll admit it. Before working out, I almost never warm-up. Mostly because it’s never seemed to matter. It just takes extra time and if there’s no benefit, why do it?
Well, I came across this research study looking at whether warming up can reduce injuries in soccer players. In their work scientists [...]
