Juggling and Running Streak Day 256

Day 256 of a quest to joggle at least one mile every day for 1000 days in a row.

Summary: An easy day of joggling today. With no races coming up my workouts haven’t been too inspired. I did have a fun moment however when I nailed a trick I’ve been working on for a few weeks. Here’s what I did…

Just after the corner of North Avenue and Ashland there is a big, triangle road construction sign on the sidewalk. It is on two posts and tall enough to walk under. But there is a bar at the bottom connecting the two posts so you have to step over it unless you want to trip.

Anyway, my trick is that I throw one up over the sign, then jump over the bar and pass under the sign, then I look up and catch the Gballz bean bag on the other side. I’ve missed it most other times but this time I caught it perfectly. I smiled all the way to the next stop light. A biker road up along side me and said, “That was awesome!” I blushed and thanked her.
