While I wasn’t able to make it out to Sparks, NV for the World Joggling Championships, I did get a list of the results. Len Ferman, this year’s coordinator, sent me this link to the results.
Some notable finishes.
+ Lauge Benjaminson set an IJA joggling record for the 7-ball, 100 meter dash with a time of 58.4 seconds. Incredible!
+ Tyler Wishau won 4 races including the 3-ball, 100 meter dash, 800 meter, 5K and the 4×400 relay. Tyler finished the 5K in 19:41. I wish I could break 20 in a 5K again.
+ Heather Marriott excelled in the women’s division winning 4 races including the 800, 400, 200, and 100.
+ 21 people ran the 3-ball, 100 meter dash in the boys 13-17 division. Wow!! Warms my heart to hear about all the new jogglers.
From all reports this was an excellent race and a good time was had by all. I’m sorry I missed it but hopefully I’ll be able to make the trek out to Minnesota next year and compete in the 2011 Joggling Championships.
Did you run in this year’s joggling races? Leave a comment and let us know how it went.

Go Lauge! I would love to see any video footage of the 7 ball 100 meter dash, or any other race for that matter.
