Joggling Tour of Europe Day 21

I’ve done a fair amount of traveling this year with trips to China, Italy, UK, Germany, and France.  I kept a log of the trip but I’ve not done anything with it just yet.  However, I thought I would post an excerpt here because you might find it interesting.  I realize that I still haven’t done a write-up of the Paris marathon and someday I hope to do it.  We”ll see.  I should say it was awesome and a great experience.

But the following transcript and picture is from the London portion of the trip.  Mostly, I wanted to show off this picture of the juggling shop Oddballs in London.

Day 21
Up early.  Cleared out emails and was a little productive.
Head still doesn’t feel right, hearing still muffled.  Decongestant didn’t work. May have to see a doctor.
Went joggling.  Legs definitely feel better.  Took pic of humped zebra crossing.  Wonder what it means.
Showered, drank hot chocolate, tea and ate a couple if cookies.
Then off to St Paul cathedral.  Got coffee and soda at restaurant.
Lots of steps in St Paul cathedral!
Took some photos of London then back down 500+ stairs to the crypt.
Walked over bridge to the Tate museum of art.  Free art!
Weather is cool and grey.  Like I expected London weather to be.
Sunflower seed exhibit was interesting.
Excellent pieces.  I like the surrealists the best so far.  I have to admit that I often don’t get why some things are art.  But maybe I can be an artist.
Saw the statue by Rodin “The Kiss”.  Reminded me of getting a small version when I was a kid.
Tired, we made our way up to the top floor restaurant.  Great views over the river.
Had a beer and ordered lunch with tea.  I got ham salad on a bloomer whatever that is.
After peppermint tea, walked over bridge and took bus back to hotel.  Need a nap and to check email.
At hotel, finally worked out our accommodations for the next few nights.
We were without a hotel after tonight.  Worked through emails then got ready for dinner.
Meeting with Rebecca who we first met in Venice.
Took bus.  Got to sit in the front seat of the upper deck!
Excellent view, you should sit there if you can.
Lots of busses in London!
Not much of a skyline in these European cities.
Dinner with Rebecca at Drunkin Monkey.  Dim sum.  Mmmm
After dinner had a drink at a nearby pub and hopped the bus back to hotel.
The photo at the right is a juggling shop near our hotel.
