One of my primary motivations for joggling and exercising every day is to live until I’m 107 years old. And I try everything to help improve my chances of living that long. I try to keep my weight down, exercise, and even floss every day. Supposedly flossing increases your life expectancy by 5 years. Joggling can add 6 years to your life if this article is to be believed.
But according to this article, there is about 1 in 6000 chance that I’m going to live until past 100. Then worse, over 85% of centenarians are women. Darn. On the plus side, if I do get to be over 100 I’ll be outnumbered by women by about 8 to 1.
So, despite the fact that much of longevity is genetics and luck, I’ll still try to improve my chances to live as long as I possibly can. And joggling will be a key strategy to achieve that goal.
