Joggling in the New York Times

I would be remiss if I didn’t post a link to this story in the New York Times that is probably the most publicity joggling has gotten in a number of years. It’s a story about Jack Hirschowitz who will be joggling the New York marathon at the ripe old age of 67. He will be the oldest person ever to joggle a complete marathon.

Good luck Jack!

Hi Perry! Thank you for posting the link and for your good wishes. As you know the marathon was cancelled. Well, there was a grass roots movement to run an “unofficial” New York Marathon in Central Park yesterday and thousands of runners showed up wearing their official t shirt. I joggled a marathon and ran with my son in law. My unofficial time was 4:38 (which is my best time so far). It was a great day and almost more fun than the marathon itself. I am signed up to run the Jacksonville marathon (after the 9 hills yesterday I am looking forward to no hills). It will take place on the 16th of December and my goal is to be under 4:30
Once again thank you for your interest and thank you for a great website and blog!
