I always love it when joggling gets some national attention. New York joggler Jack Hirschowitz was featured in this piece on CBS Sunday Morning. Originally, it was going to focus on his efforts to joggle the New York Marathon but since that got cancelled they focused more on the joggling aspect of it. It was pretty cool.
You can see the whole video here.
The story features all kinds of joggling videos including some from the water skiing jugglers, the triathlon jogglers, and some of the IJA joggling championships.
It also features some information about joggling in the Olympics which I don’t think is exactly accurate but perhaps I’m just being too skeptical. As far as I can tell, joggling was never an Olympic sport.
But it was a great feature on joggling. Congratulations Jack!
Incidentally, Jack joggled the impromptu New York Marathon which was run around Central Park on the day when the actual marathon was supposed to go. He reports joggling a 4:28 which was better than his time last year.

You’re quite right to be skeptical of Albert Lucas’ claims about juggling’s history in the Olympics. He’s been pedaling the same line of BS for many, many years. Here’s the best debunking I know of:

Thanks for the link Greg. Maybe I’ll make this a full post.
Nicely done. Good job, Jack!
I had people at work tell me about this. They knew I was a joggler and saw it on TV last weekend.
