It’s fall. Well, it’s actually closer to winter. The weather is getting colder and the motivation to go out joggling every day starts to ebb.
This always happens around this time of year. There are no races to train for, no goals to achieve, and there are a lot less people on the sidewalk to give you a pleasant smile. These are the days that let you know who the hard core jogglers are.
When I first started running, I didn’t like it. It took me 8 years before I started liking it. And now, it’s great. But when the temperature gets down to 25F (-4C) and there’s nothing to train for, it gets hard.
But the joggling streak must go on. Today is day 1456, just 5 days away from my 4 year anniversary. Come hell or high water, there is no way I’m going to skip today.
So, I’ll put on some pants, long-sleeve shirt, a running vest, a headband, and gloves. I’ll put on my headphones, gather up my balls, and…
Joggle on!

I joggled for the third time today. I made it two miles from home before my manhood felt like it was frozen solid. To avoid a painful thawing process, I took a cab home. Must wear underwear at the very least, next time. What a time of year to get into the sport.
lol! Yeah, underwear in the winter is a good idea. Congratulations on your joggling experiment! Keep it up.
