100 year old marathoner retires

Here is my inspiration and competition. Fauja Singh holds the world record for the fastest marathon done by a 100 year old. He made news recently because he is slated to retire from running100 year old marathoner

His record for the marathon is 8 hours and 11 minutes. When I run my marathon at age 100 (April 4, 2069) I hope I can do what he did. And of course, it will be my intention to joggle the marathon.

Fauja is a real inspiration though. He only took up running when he was in his late 80′s. For all those people who think they are too old to start running, here’s a guy that proves it wrong. You’re never too old. And you’re never too old to pick up juggling either!

I love his explanation for why he does well at running.

“It’s because of the happiness I get out of it. If something makes you happy, you’ll do it well.”
