As you may know, I’m participating in the IJA World Joggling Championships in Lexington, Kentucky two weeks from now. To get to the coffee room at work, it takes me 76 steps. If I want to visit the bath room, it takes 84 steps. It’s about 435 steps from my car to my cubicle. I know this because I’ve counted.

Here’s an interesting study reported on at NPR. It seems that people are able to improve their physical fitness just by thinking about it. This same technique could be used to improve your joggling and even your juggling ability.

Joggling is fun and that’s the primary reason I do it. But the reason I started running back in 1993 was strictly for the health of it. Living to 107 required some exercising and running was the cheapest sport I’d could find.

Here is an article outlining research that concludes you learn better at nighttime. Researchers used a magnetic coil to stimulate subject’s brains and measured their ability to control their hand movements.
