Hi Perry,

Well, you sure did a good job of fooling me. When Shannon, Sandy & I saw you in the race, you looked like you were feeling fine. Anyway, your determination and personal discipline are to be admired even if Boston eluded you this year. Marmee

Great job on the marathon, Perry! You are such a speedy peep, even if you didn't qualify for Boston!! I think joggling would be fun to try next year :-)

It's too bad that you didn't qualify for Boston...keep trying, you'll get it. I would recommend that if you want a 3:20, line up with the 3:20 pace group. It's taken me a long time to learn that lesson, but starting fast really does take away more time at the end. It was probably too hot this year in Chicago anyways. I was also hoping for a 3:20 and faded at the end and missed it by 2 minutes. It still ended up being one of my highest ranked finishes ever.

Good luck!
