How Do You Handle Body Sweat?

by Average Joggler on 07/27/2009

Trying to solve a problem that many others might have…too much sweat.

When I walk through my condo, I drip sweat all over the house.

How to handle sweat

I’ve tried the following to solve the problem but none have been terribly successful.

1. Immediately change clothes
2. Towel off
3. Showering

The other problem is what to do about wet clothes.

I’ve tried the following to deal with wet clothes. None are particularly effective either.

1. Put in plastic bag
2. Wash with “sports washes”
3. Wrap in a towel

hang wet clothes on a dryer clothes rack that folds up, or on a clothesline.

I usually walk around outside for a while to cool down so by the time I get inside i’m no longer generating that much sweat. Agree with the hanging of the clothes after to air them out. Once dry, then pitch into laundry bag. Sticking it in moist give all that smelly bacteria the chance to multiply!

@Fran – mine have definitely multiplied. They last even through multiple washings. The microbes living in my running shirts are my friends now. A constant companion.
