How Many States Have You Joggled?

by Average Joggler on 03/29/2010

I was just looking over my joggling streak stats and notice that I’ve joggled in a lot of different places. Here is a list of some of the US joggling mapplaces I’ve joggled during the current streak. This isn’t all the places, as I’ve joggled in many different cities in the same state, but it is all the states during this streak.

1. Chicago (IL)
2. Philadelphia (PA)
3. Akron (OH)
4. Phoenix (AZ)
5. Las Vegas (NV)
6. New York (NY)
7. Baltimore (MD)
8. Milwaukee (WI)
9. Twin Cities (MN)
10. Albuquerque (NM)
11. West Virginia (WV)
12. Orlando (FL)
13. Atlanta (GA)
14. Indianapolis (IN)
15. Connecticut (CT)
16. St. Louis (MO)
17. South Haven (MI)
18. Newark (NJ)
19. Glacier National Park (MT)
20. Charlotte (NC)

If I expanded to all the states I’ve joggled in beyond the current streak, I’d also add South Carolina, Delaware, Washington DC, Rhode Island, California, Utah, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Maine, Arkansas, and Kentucky. Total = 31

This means I’ve still got 19 more states in which I must joggle.

My country count is much less notable but would include, Germany, UK, France, Canada, Mexico & US.

How many states have you joggled? And for my International readers, how many countries have you joggled in?

I’ve joggled in zero states and I think my streak will continue for a long time.

I’ve joggled in Florida, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.

Great job, Perry.

Just think: Dean Karnazes is planning to run a marathon in every country (220) in one single year… That will be an awesome and challenging feat, can’t wait to see if he pulls it off.

The travel arrangements for that trip would be mind boggling. He’ll definitely need some people to arrange it for him.

Yeah, on facebook I read that it’s a trip that’s been 5 years in planning. He’s trying to get clearance from all the countries illegal to visit for U.S. citizens. That will be a tough adventure, but I know he’ll do it if all the logistics pan out.

Washington DC is not a state. I didn’t do the count, do you need to revise?

I’ve physically been in 47 of the 50 states. Idaho, Alaska and Maine, why are you so far away?

Let’s see, I’ve joggled in the state of exuberance, in the state of exhaustion. . . .

Otherwise, just here in St. Louis. (So when were you here, Perry? Was it for an event?)

@Brian – I added DC but didn’t put it in the final count. I’ve physically been in 44 states (missing Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, & Wyoming). But some of the states I was in before I started joggling.

@Joe – I’ve been to St. Louis a few times. Went there for the local SCC (Society of Cosmetic Chemists) meeting and to catch a few Cubs vs Cards games.
