Is Multitasking Impossible?

by Average Joggler on 05/02/2010

I saw this bit of research which just helps reinforce my belief that there isn’t much “good” science going on in the field of Psychology & Behavioral Science.

Multitasking Splits the Brain

The article discusses multitasking and concludes that “the brain can’t effectively handle more than two complex, related activities at once.”

Clearly, they haven’t seen any number of jugglers who can simultaneously do at least 3 things.

For example, juggle, balance, and spin.

How could scientists miss such obvious evidence against their conclusion? Two things at once limit…indeed!
