We just received word from Joe the Juggler that he completed the St. Louis Track Club’s Half Marathon on November 1st. He did it
in 2:21 with only 2 drops under tough, windy conditions. Congratulations Joe!
The impressive thing about Joe is that he is a club joggler which is a bit tougher than bean bag or ball joggling.
Be sure to check out this news report video that featured Joe and his joggling work. The reporter in the story is actually one of the best juggling reporters I’ve ever seen. She can actually do the three ball cascade!

Nice video interview, Joe! You did a good job representing joggling to the public. It’s nice to see you talk about it in a positive, relaxed, and approachable manner.
Thanks, Joe.
And Perry, that reporter never juggled before the ~5 minute quickie lesson I gave her. She actually didn’t keep a cascade going during our brief lesson. She kept the right hand of a cascade going just fine with my left hand.
As I said in the interview–she’s a natural!
That slick little thing she did with “juggling” and “joggling” as a double exposure or whatever was something she put together after our interview when I was off on my real run.
(The bits she videotaped were all staged. You can tell, because when I run for real, I’m all covered in sweat almost as soon as I start.)
