Joggler Journal – Running Streak Day 384

by Average Joggler on 12/06/2009

Day 384 chronicling a joggling streak which will last at least 1001 days in a row.

Summary: A brisk, cold day which was beautiful for joggling. Cold running doesn’t bother me much as long as I bundle up. Just make sure to cover everything and don’t be afraid to use double and triple layers. Today, I used two pairs of gloves because when your hands go numb from the cold, it’s much more difficult to juggle.

Weather: 28 F and sunny

Distance: 5.75 miles

Time: 9:24 am

Run time: 45:01

Listening to: Podcast – Big Ideas (Steven Pinker, Noam Chomsky)

Weight: 195 lbs

Drops: 0

Condition: Cold but felt good. Knees hurt a bit from cold

Shoes: Asics – 278 miles

Hi Perry,
I’m enjoying your website — keep up the good job! You have inspired me to become a streek joggler – Yes!! My streek is now at 642 days. I joggled in heavy rain this morning – I’ll take the ca rain over your snow any day! I really think our weather here is spoilling me.
I notice your usrsa retired streek is listed as 445 and your website says444? Joggle on!! See you in Sparks?! Andy

Hey Andy! Great to hear you’re still streaking. I’m shooting for 1001 days in a row now.

I’ll be there in Sparks. Should be fun.

Perry, 44
