Day 515 of a joggling streak which will last at least 1001 days in a row.
Summary: A BEAUTIFUL day for joggling! It’s the kind of day that makes you happy you are alive. There were a couple interesting moments during this run. The first happened about half-way into my run. As I was approaching an intersection, two homeless people took a look at me and started laughing. Then one of smiles widely and says, “Hey, I know you! You’re the greatest runner in the world!” I smiled, waved and kept running.
The other incident happened near the end of the run. There were three guys walking towards me. One of them started saying, “shower, shower, shower.” I didn’t understand but then eventually figured out he wanted me to do the shower pattern. So, I turned around after I passed them and started doing the shower pattern. The three of them started cheering. It was great!
I love good weather joggling in the city.

How do you know they weren’t telling you that you need a “shower!”
I am surprised they knew what a shower juggling trick was… haha.
Good point and that’s what I thought at first. But when I turned around and did the shower pattern they started cheering loudly. “The Shower” they yelled. They must’ve been jugglers.
Guess you’re bound to come across some jugglers in a big city like Chicago. Out of all the patterns, I guess the shower one is the easiest to communicate, versus yelling, “the Factory!” or “Orka’s Mess!” or “Cherry Pickers!” lol.
They probably knew about your joggling streak, and were starting to wonder if you were on a no showering streak… lol
