That's really interesting what said about joggling and form. In the videos I've seen of you and other jogglers, you are very fluid and smooth. A big part of what appeals to me about joggling is the aesthetic of it. Something that is so fluid can only be good.

I can't say whether joggling has helped make me faster or not...at least directly.

But joggling is the source inspiration that keeps me running. Without it, I probably wouldn't exercise nearly as much as I do. It's also the thing that inspires me to try and get faster. My desire to qualify for the Boston Marathon is only as a joggler, not as a runner. It wouldn't mean nearly as much to me. Finally, joggling forces me to keep good running form. It is just very difficult to joggle when you're hunched over.

Joggling does make it harder to push myself when doing sprint workouts and I probably am a bit slower because I rarely do them.

However, taken as a whole, joggling has made me a faster runner.

Perry,

I'm very impressed with your streak. I've also noticed that your 3 mile times are faster than my 5K races.

Do you think that joggling has made you a faster runner?
