Joggling Cold and Slow

The last few days in Chicago have been some of the coldest joggling days of the year. Yesterday, it was 18 F and today it’s a much warmer 27 F.running in the winter

Here’s what I looked like before going out on both of these days. Two sets of gloves, a wool headband, a knit hat, under armour pants and shirt, woosh-woosh pants, a running shirt, a running vest and another lightweight running pull-over. The gloves made joggling tricky and I must’ve had 4 drops in the course of 6+ miles.

It’ll be nice when this weather breaks and I can get back to some faster and drop free joggling.

I have to admit that keeping the joggling streak alive by running in such weather actually makes me secretly proud. Mother nature is conspiring to stop it, but the streak lives on!

343 days and still counting.

Merry Christmas joggling world.
