Joggling Journal Running Streak Day 467

by Average Joggler on 02/27/2010

Day 467 of a joggling streak which will last at least 1001 days in a row.

Summary: Today was better than yesterday. After a sluggish start, I brightened right up after some encouraging words by passing pedestrians. That is one benefit the joggling has over regular running. People are just much more inclined to cheer you on. I joggled around my neighborhood then went to pick up my car which I left a mile from my house. A great way to keep yourself motivated to run is to make the run have a purpose. My purpose was to get my car.

I know what you mean. Someone stopped their car, rolled down the window and said some really nice things to me while I was out joggling this morning. It sure made my day.

That’s never happened to me when I was just jogging.
