Joggling Streak Update – Day 240

by Average Joggler on July 15, 2009

Day 240 of a quest to joggle at least one mile every day for 1000 days in a row.

Summary: It was a hot one today and with about half a mile left in my joggling run, I was ready to stop. I felt weak and a little nauseous. But I persevered. If you practice stopping and walking during practice, you’ll be more likely to stop and walk during a race. That may be ok for some people, but I prefer not to walk during any of my races. It just doesn’t feel like racing. Of course, I have been known to walk and see no shame in doing so. I just don’t like to do it during practice.
