Summary: Today, I was pressed for time so I had to use the fitness center in my New Jersey hotel. I haven’t been on a treadmill since February and you know what, I haven’t missed it. Joggling on a treadmill isn’t bad but it’s not as nice as joggling outside.
My excitement about working out today was minimal. I had to teach an all-day class and that was distracting my attention. But the STREAK must stay alive. You can’t let a little thing like lack of motivation be the thing that breaks a streak. Remember…
If it were easy, everyone would be doing it.

Yeah, I did a 13 miler on a treadmill for training last year. It isn’t all that. The freedom of joggling outside is just so much more enjoyable. Hamster wheel “treadmill” joggling should be reserved for special weather conditions or for varying your running surface.
This is where it gets real.
