Day 544 of a joggling streak which will last at least 1001 days in a row.
Summary: Today, I got to meet a joggler who I only knew through emails & the Internet. Jonas Eberlein came to Chicago for a friend’s wedding and contacted me. We went joggling by the lakefront and it was great.
Jonas doesn’t use bean bags for joggling, he uses these short sticks. He was nice enough to bring a set for me and we joggled together for about 4 miles. The weather was beautiful and there was a nice sized crowd down by the lake. They cheered loudly for the passing pair of jogglers.
Admittedly, joggling these rods was much more difficult than joggling my trusty Gballz. The hardest part was that I had lots of over rotation, and frequently dropped. I’m not used to dropping. I’m also not used to having to look at the things I’m juggling. With these rods, I had to do that. But eventually I got it and it was a lot of fun. Jonas is quite good a joggling these pins and we had an excellent time.

I haven’t joggled for years, but when I used to I found that clubs were harder to drop once you got the right rotation down; there’s a lot more to catch than a bean bag.
Based on your video, you look to be doing pretty well with the short rods he brought.
