Day 397 of a joggling streak which will last at least 1001 days in a row.
Summary: I woke up this morning and there was a slow, steady snow falling. There was already about a centimeter on the ground and I smiled. I don’t particularly like snow, but there is something about inclement weather that motivates me to joggle. I wonder if there are other people who get inspired to go running when the weather is lousy.
The trick to joggling in the winter is that you have to be extra careful so you don’t slip and fall & also so you don’t get hit by cars. Drivers don’t have as much control when the roads are slick. You have to slow down and focus on planting your feet.
One thing that you might notice (at least I did) is that when you are done running, your knees will hurt more than usual. I think it comes from the fact that your feet slip a little when they hit a snowy sidewalk.
