Summary: For the first time in many months I thought about skipping my run today. While joggling every day might seem effortless at this point, today I was briefly reminded that it isn’t. It takes continual renewal of your commitment. It takes discipline. It takes effort to overcome your natural tendency to rest. Fortunately, the goal of the juggling and running streak has been so ingrained in my brain that these thoughts have no chance of actually hindering my progress to the 1000+ day goal. If I end short, it won’t be because of my brain.
I joggled an easy three and a half miler today. A few too many drinks at a wedding the day before slowed me down and made it a tougher run than usual. Often I think I should stop drinking alcohol. The downside frequently seems to outweigh the upside.
