I jog on a small trampoline. It's very easy on my knees (I have arthritis in both). I have tried without success to find a way to measure the distance I am covering when I jog at a steady pace for an hour (or more).

Most pedometers are for walking or jogging on a hard surface and I'm told the bounce on the trampoline renders these pedometers useless. If anyone knows how I might calculate the distance I am covering, please let me know. I jog every day for an hour or more and simulate as best as I can what it would be to jog. I think it's better than jogging but I don't think I burn as many calories.

Thanks. I hope to hear from someone (perhaps step-counters work? haven't checked those at a sports shop yet).

I'm training for the annual Queen City Marathon (Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada).

You should have edited out the drop and looped it for about 5 minutes. Would have been more impressive. I will say that wasn't your longest run, it just happened to be the one we filmed. Nice job. I tried it and couldn't do more than 3 catches/throws.

I think there’s an undiscovered drinking game here, or at least a good shot of having to pay the medical deductible on one’s health insurance.
