Six Week Training for Joggling Competition

Alright, as mentioned previously I’m going to Lexington, Kentucky to participate in the 2008 World Joggling Championship races.

Since this event features much shorter distances than the marathon, it will require a different kind of training program. To create it, I headed over to Runner’s World and used their Smart Coach tool. I used the following information to make it.

Recent 5K time: 20 min
Distance training for: 5K
How many miles per week: 26-30 mi
How hard do you train: Very Hard
Length of program: 6 Weeks

You can see my entire training schedule here. The joggling work begins on Monday, June 2.

Anyone have any tips on getting faster? Leave a comment below.
