Snow Joggling – Running Everday for 449 in a row

by Average Joggler on 02/09/2010

Day 449 of a joggling streak which will last at least 1001 days in a row.

Summary: It was a blizzard out today and that meant great fun for joggling! The temperature felt warmer than it had and the sidewalks were surprisingly not bad. I slipped around a lot more than usual and it took me over 26 minutes to run 3 miles, but I had fun! Joggling in the blowing snow is an added challenge that fills me with pride as I trek down the streets.

If you’ve never tried blizzard joggling, you should. It’s a blast. It will be great training for when I eventually do the Antarctica marathon. Will I be the first joggler to do that? hmmm.

On a slightly different note, I was just made aware by Andy Swan that he has continued his joggling streak. He is now up over 700 days in a row! Congratulations Andy!!

Nice work on a snowy day. It must be tough to joggle with snow hitting you in the eyes.
