Juggling and Running Streak – Day 50
Weather: 30 F, Cloudy, gray, light snow
Distance: 4.79 mi – Crate & Barrel loop
Time: 2:30 pm
Run time: 37:51
Listening to: Moby Dick
Weight: 190 lbs
Drops: 1 – Looked away while throwing one over a no parking sign.
Condition: Felt exhausted around mile 3. Maybe getting tired.
Summary: A good juggling run. I can tell I’m getting back in shape because 5 miles doesn’t seem as hard. Can’t really explain the strange feeling of weakness/exhaustion around between mile 2.5 and 3.5. Proof that eating something before working out is a good idea.
I had two press interviews recently; an interview with a reporter from Florida and a round-table discussion on the Runner’s Lounge podcast. I’ll put links when I get them.

I think Herman Melville would get a kick out of: (1) you listening to his book on audio format, (2) you listening to his book while running, and (3) you listening to his book while juggling three balls and running. It would joggle his brain.
The goal to qualify for Boston has been my White Whale.
I wonder if Melville juggled.
