Cold Weather Running Confessions
I hate joggling in the cold.
Your clothes are so tight and heavy, it’s difficult to move.
Tears form in your eyes, freeze and make tiny icicles on your eyelashes.
Your fully-charged iPod stops working after 30 minutes.
Your glasses fog up as you breathe into your neck gaiter.
With every step, you feel the pounding of the pavement in your knees.
The cold air makes your lungs feel like bags of ice cubes.
Fingertips go numb and you drop frequently.
You feel every step of your run.
I love joggling in the cold.
Amen! You do feel every step. You feel like you earn every step.
