A diet pill that works?

To support my goal of losing some weight (and getting faster) I’ve been reading up on the subject. Here is an interesting story about a diet pill that might actually work. I’m highly skeptical of any simple solution to the problem of excessive weight but this research seems pretty interesting. losing weight

How it works is a little complicated but basically the pill tricks the body into thinking it has eaten a meal. It turns on the FXR receptors located in your stomach and intestine and this makes your body think that you are eating food when you’re not. This will suppress hunger and theoretically you’ll lose weight.

The research is early so we’ll see if it ever gets turned into an actual product. If it does it should certainly be a drug because I could see it being dangerous if used improperly.
