Joggling Journal – Streak Day 71

Day 71 of a quest to joggle at least one mile every day for 1000 days in a row.

Summary: Started with a bad headache. Headache went away but I slipped while joggling and crashed pretty hard on the ice. Here was the scene.

I was joggling along the sidewalks of North Avenue when I saw a large pole sticking out from a street lamp. To amuse myself, I threw a bean bag high over the pole (30 ft). I noticed it was too far away as it came back to the ground, so I sped up. Unfortunately, that was the exact moment I stepped onto a sheet of ice on the sidewalk. My foot slipped out from under me, the bean bags all went flying and I came crashing on the ground. I slid for about 15 feet. I gathered the Gballz, picked myself up, and finished my run. I gotta say, that hurt. Winter joggling can be treacherous.
