Joggling Streak – Day 96

Day 96 of a quest to joggle at least one mile every day for 1000 days in a row.

Summary: Finally, a long joggling workout. I chose to joggle to the beach and back which I figured was about 15 miles. It turns out to be a bit joggling-chicago-08ashorter than that at 14.25 miles, but that’s alright. The key to a long workout is time, not distance. I joggled for over 2 hours and felt pretty good doing it. At the end I was wiped out on account of this cold I’ve been fighting. My legs felt great but overall, I feel lousy. Thankfully, this cold will be gone by then.

Weather: 50 F – 65 F sunny and windy

Distance: 14.25 mi (Jupiter long joggle)

Time: 7:46 am

Run time: 02:05:05

Listening to: Ayn Rand – Atlas Shrugged – Chapter 6

Weight: No scale access

Drops: 0

Condition: Felt fine while running. Sick & weak after

Shoes: New Balance

Happy birthday to my good friend Jim Walsh!

  1. My cold is lingering too. Just did my first joggling run after the marathon. It was nice to get out there and joggle. I felt relaxed and really refreshed to just be one with the joggling and not worry about time/pace/distance. I am getting back to my juggling practice too, which is nice.
