The way to get good at joggling is to reduce your frequency of dropping. If you practice juggling with your eyes closed, you’ll learn not to drop. And drop free joggling is fast joggling.
This is an exercise that I definitely need to work on. I’ve noticed with good jugglers, that throws and catches are very smooth and consistent. I figure my juggling muscles are still novices when it comes to learning proper form.
That’s right, it just takes a bit of practice
In my case, it might take a LOT of practice. I find it interesting, though, that since I’ve begun experimenting with catching balls with my eyes closed, that my juggling with eyes open has gotten a lot smoother and a lot more controlled.
