Joggling Streak – Day 94
Day 94 of a quest to joggle at least one mile every day for 1000 days in a row.
Summary: I looked forward to today’s joggle despite the cold that I’m feeling. My legs have felt great and I’m thoroughly enjoying the book Atlas Shrugged. It’s the kind of book that makes you think about your life. Think about whether you could do something great. Think about whether you live with conviction. Whether you care about anything. It’s great.
I’m a joggler. I care about joggling.
Weather: ~68 F – windy!
Distance: ~ 3.8 mi
Time: 5:13 pm
Run time: 30:46
Listening to: Ayn Rand – Atlas Shrugged – Chapter 4
Weight: No scale access
Drops: 1 – lost concentration in the wind
Condition: Still feeling sick. Sore throat weakness.
Shoes: New Balance
I caught the post-marathon cold/sore throat bug too. I am just glad I didn’t catch it right before the race.
Joggle on.
That often happens! Hopefully, mine will be gone in a couple of days. The marathon is only 15 days away! Yikes!!
My training has been scant for this one. Yes, I joggle every day but haven’t done a run over 10 miles yet.
I thought Atlas Shrugged was going to be a boring book about economics, but what I read was rather entertaining. As good as it was I wouldn’t call it a page turner. I still haven’t finished it.
I’ve rather enjoyed Atlas Shrugged. It’s very much like the Fountainhead which I thought was great. I’m having no trouble “turning the pages”. Of course, I enjoyed Moby Dick too and I could see how people would have a hard time with that one.
Maybe the listening to it piece is better for me.
