Juggling and Running Streak Day 135

Day 135 of a quest to joggle at least one mile every day for 1000 days in a row.

Summary: I need to start ramping up my miles to prepare for the Sunburst Marathon in June. I’m going to try and joggle this one and make my way into a Boston Qualifier. Right now, my head is telling me “No Way, you can’t do it.” But this must be overcome. Much of training is talking yourself into what you can do.

Today’s joggling run was excellent. I felt like I was running easy but was cruising down North Avenue at faster speeds than normal. I made it to the Lake in 26 minutes. It usually takes 28 min. The sun was out, it was cool and I was able to wear shorts and a running shirt. Having no extra clothes to slow you down helps with your speed.
