Cure your blues by running or juggling

Have you ever noticed that you don’t see a lot of depressed people juggling? I know when I’m running or joggling I just can’t help but have a smile on my face. It turns out there mightsad juggling be more to this than just general good-naturedness.

According to this Newsweek article, exercise has been shown to not only have immediate effects on your mood, but it also has long-lasting effect on your brain.

We’ve seen the physical benefits of juggling but here are some of the positive mental benefits of regular joggling.

1. Improves your mood
2. Decreases your anxiety
3. Improves your resilience when under stress
4. Raises your self-esteem.

The article even suggests that exercising (read juggling) works as well as other anti-depressant treatments like medication and psychotherapy.

So the next time you’re feeling a little blue, pickup those first class Gballz, lace up those Brooks shoes, strap on that iPod and go out for a joggle. Your mind and body will thank you.
